School lunches will not be free for all students this year due to the end of a federal waiver that supported the initiative during the pandemic. If a child needs free or reduced lunch, parents must complete the free or reduced lunch form on the new Titan Family portal. You can use the portal to view the weekly menu, manage your student meal account (payments, low balance alerts, and transfers between family members), and apply for free and reduced meals.

The Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education named two new leaders Thursday. Lydia Richmond will be the principal of West Rowan High School, and Damien Ackelman will be the district principal.

The MGSD Board of Education is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Jason Gardner is the next superintendent of the Mooresville School District (MGSD).

The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) at North Rowan High School (NRHS) participated in the first JROTC Science and Mathematical Engineering (STEM) program at South Carolina State University (SCSU). This program is a CSCU TAP transfer degree. For Connecticut Community College students to transfer to Connecticut State College and Charter Oak State College without losing any credits or earning additional credits toward a bachelor's degree in the same subject.

Courses offered for translation degrees at CSCU include: Political Science, A.A. If you are a part-time student, follow the sequence of courses listed here, but note that some courses are required for the following courses. Please note that not all courses are available every semester. You will find that in most cases you can choose a specific subject to study from any category. See the attached (PDF) list of courses you can choose from in each category.

Students must meet with a recommended advisor/tutor to review graduation requirements and plan for future semesters by logging into MyCommnet and clicking Submit.

Criminology Studies Degree

This study of political science by A.A. A bachelor's degree is the only community college degree offered by Charter Oak State College's public universities and business majors listed below. When passing, you declare your actual field. With this degree, you can advance to the following professions.

Financial Aid Note Federal regulations require students to receive financial aid only for degree/certificate eligible courses. To comply with this rule, students must keep track of their registered courses to count toward their degree/certificate program. Courses deemed ineligible for program participation will not be considered eligible for financial aid. Prerequisites are considered. This procedure is now in effect. Eligibility ends when a student attempts to earn 90 credits in a regular 60 credit program.

Stories Of Innovation: Using A Lightboard For Online Lectures

AST*111, Introduction to Astronomy (4 credits) An introduction to the study of the solar system, stars, galaxies, nebulae, and recently discovered celestial bodies. Includes laboratory and field trips. Prerequisite: Eligibility for MAT*137 and ENG*101. (New Offer Fall 2020)

CJS*141, Fingerprints (1 credit) This seminar introduces students to the basic skills needed to document, identify, and identify latent fingerprints. Students will use chemical and physical imaging techniques including: fingerprint powder, magnetic powder, SPR, cyanoacrylate fume, iodine, crystal, and crystal violet. August 5th is the last day to officially withdraw from the University before 5:00pm and the last day to withdraw from a full class with a grade of "W".

On October 21, ACC II will be reset for the last time before 5:00 p.m.; If you have withdrawn from CSU, the deadline for a full tuition refund is 5:00 p.m. (ACC II only)

October 28, 5:00 p.m. Deadline for 25% tuition refund upon withdrawal from CSU. (ACC II only)

January 27, the deadline for spring I classes with a grade of "W" is 5:00 p.m.
