Oklahoma State Spring 2023 Calendar – After spending time in Stillwater this week, it didn't take long for Cameron Hurd to decide where he wanted to play college football.

Hurd, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound Class of 2023 commit, committed to Oklahoma State on Thursday. Hurd saw the Cowboys coach firsthand this week at OSU's "The Show" camp for skilled players. Hurd played for four high schools in northeast Houston, but was considered a next-level catcher. Hurd led the Brahmans to a 7-4 record and the playoffs last season, throwing for 714 yards, rushing for 1,068 yards and 15 touchdowns.

This spring, he ran the 100 meters in 10.8 seconds in regional track and field competition. He also ran the 200m in 23.15 seconds in March.

Hurd played in regular school and flew under the radar most of the time. He is not listed as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals. He received an offer from UTSA in April 2021 and didn't announce another offer until Tech took over after his junior season last December.
