's New Educator Weekend (NEW) is a conference for new members. This NEW conference is for educators in their first three years in the profession. The conference has everything educators need to succeed in their first years of teaching, including sessions on classroom management, creating engaging classrooms, lesson plans and ideas, connecting with your union, student loan forgiveness information, member benefits, project grants, and more.

This week's HBCU Caravan! We have several HBCU admissions representatives in town this week ready and eager to connect with students, faculty and staff. We will visit Southern California community colleges and the A2MEND Conference and College Fair. Event participants do not have to be students or staff at the host community college, all are welcome! Students should bring more than one copy of the transcript if they plan to apply on-site.
