Ucsd Academic Calendar 2023-24 – Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Physiology Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis invites graduate students to apply for the prestigious Rising Stars Symposium to be held in the fall of 2022. This highly competitive two-day event allows outstanding graduate students working in biochemistry, physiology, structural biology, mass spectrometry, or related fields at Washington University School of Medicine to present their work and receive this prestigious award. In addition to providing opportunities for students to share work and expand professional networks, the main goal of the workshop is to interact with faculty faculty (https://biochem.wustl.edu/misc/risingstars/faculty). Ideal for graduate studies. All fees will be paid to students from the US and Canada (international students living abroad will attend via distance learning).

Applicants should have a solid research background and published articles and plan to graduate within one year (or six months after) of the seminar. We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented students.

Depaul Academic Calendar 2022 2023

Eligibility: UC San Diego students must be enrolled full-time as a CH major and be in good academic standing at the time of the conference. We particularly encourage applications from students from non-traditional chemistry backgrounds.

Award: Students will be allowed to pay $1,750 for travel, airfare, lodging, meals, ground transportation and other expenses. The application deadline is August 26, 2022 at 11:59 PM PST, and students will be notified in early September if they choose to participate.

This year's training camp will be held from August 9 to August 19 (see registration form for course overview). These lectures will be streamed live on Scripps and broadcast via Zoom for anyone interested in attending, and it's free!

The bootcamp includes lectures, interactive problem sessions, and advanced Q+A group learning (assuming there is enough interest). This is a great opportunity for young chemists to learn about organometallic chemistry, learn more about the Scripps Graduate School, and interact with other chemists, including professors.

The bootcamp is for incoming (G1) PhD students and undergraduate students. One year of organic chemistry is required to understand some concepts. No additional background is required.

We are excited to announce a new summer research program for undergraduate students in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Physiology at Washington University in St. Louis. Louis this summer. This will be an eight-week research program focusing on the areas of molecular biochemistry and physiology. Our department's research interests range from single-molecule spectroscopy to mitochondrial biochemistry to molecular simulation. We use the term "chemical snapshot" to emphasize our focus on gaining insight into the key chemical features of molecular processes through visual images. Research projects will cover a wide range of topics, from quintosecond time-resolved observations to new drug synthesis, nanostructure and catalyst development in energy research, biochemical and structural studies of proteins and nucleic acids, and extend to theoretical research using advances, algorithms and state-of-the-art computer graphics and multimedia capabilities.
