The kids are back in school and that means summer is quickly coming to an end, but Erie County has plenty of outdoor activities planned to keep you entertained.

In addition to this week's Tall Ships Erie Festival, you can also attend the last 8 Great Tuesday concerts in Erie. Bruce USA, the Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band, brings you highlights from the last 8 amazing shows of 2022. On Wednesday, the Erie Philharmonic brings its 16-piece "In Your Town" concert series to Lake City for a free outdoor public concert. And scheduled this week.

The Crawford County Fair runs through Saturday, while the Erie County Fair opens Monday in Wattsburg. The Erie Museum of Art has several art exhibits, including "The Artists of Chautauqua," which opens Thursday.

Chautauqua Artists in Residence: August 25 through January 22, 2023, Erie Museum of Art, 20 E. Fifth St. Exhibition by artist in residence at the Chautauqua School of Art at the Chautauqua Institute in New York. The residency program features contemporary artists whose practice spans a variety of media including video, ceramics, glass, drawing and painting. The program is multi-generational: 38 artists are selected every year, and this year artists between the ages of 21 and 74 are participating. Artists from the United States and abroad will participate. The exhibition will be presented at the Holstein Gallery.
