Undergraduate Newly Admitted Spring Students

These are the application deadlines for postgraduate studies at the university. Students must also adhere to departmental and university deadlines. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in termination. You can find this information on your university website or in your graduate program. Ultimately, it is the student's responsibility to ensure that the university receives the form on time.

All defenses must be submitted no later than the first day of the semester and no later than the last day of the semester for that semester.

Summer 2022, earliest date is May 13, 2022. Mid-season coverage deadline is July 29, 2022;

Fall 2023, earliest date is August 25, 2023. Last day to save for half season is December 8, 2023.

Dissertation Committee: After the establishment of the dissertation committee, it will be presented by doctoral students. Under normal circumstances, the dissertation committee should submit the dissertation proposal one semester in advance, but no later than four semesters before the expected completion date.

Candidate applications: Must be submitted to UGS within five working days of the first day of classes. Applications for candidacy must be submitted and approved by UGS on the first day of the program in which the student transitions to doctoral candidacy. Students cannot register for dissertation credit without an application approved by the candidate in the UGS records.
