Aacps Calendar 2023-24 – After the Howard County Public School System allowed an additional day of early vacation each month from December through May, Anne Arundel County Public Schools Superintendent George Arlotto announced that he would formally recommend adding three days of early vacation for students so that staff and students can travel. in. – Time to focus on personal health.

If the board approves this recommendation, there will be no pre-school classes or half-day afternoon ICEs for those three days. Afternoon classes at Applied Technology Centers will be conducted from students' home schools as practically as possible. Evening high school does not operate on any of these three days.

Dr. Arlotto said he would consider recommending earlier layoffs in the second half, but that would depend on how many delays or early layoffs are needed due to inclement weather.

ANNE ARANDEL COUNTY, MD — There's plenty of summer vacation left, but families want to take a peek at the upcoming academic calendar. Here are some important dates for Anne Arundel County Public Schools between 2022 and 2023.

First Day of School: Grades 1-5, 6, and 9 return on Monday, August 29. The remaining classes will start lessons on Tuesday, August 30. 29 to Wednesday 7 September. These positions are posted on this link.

Thanksgiving Break: The last day of class before break is Friday, November 18. The Thanksgiving break begins on Saturday, November 19 and ends on Sunday, November 27. Students will not return until Monday, November 28.

Winter holidays: The last day of school before the winter holidays is Thursday 22 December. Schools are closed from Friday December 23 to Sunday January 1, 2023. Classes resume on Monday January 2, 2023.

Spring Break: The last day of school before spring break is Friday, March 31, 2023. The sabbatical begins Saturday, April 1, 2023 and ends Monday, April 10, 2023. Students return Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Deadline for other students: All other students must graduate on Friday, June 16, 2023.

ECI or afternoon pre-kindergarten does not take place on most days when there is a two-hour early recess. The only exceptions are Thursday, June 15, 2023 and Friday, June 16, 2023. There will be no ECI and half-day pre-K on these dates.
